Ah, how did I end up in this career anyway..
It started with an advert in google while I was working in Hong Kong as a Marketing Executive almost 6 years ago. I started trading in Demo account with Forex.com and at that time while learning how to use the platform, I executed a sell order and shortly after, the market dropped more than a 100 pips and there was a lot of virtual money in my account. At that very moment, I thought I can do it again using real money.
So that's how I started, a one lucky trade, I don't even know what currency pair I traded that time. That one trade is that start of my continuous search of the best method of trading the global market till to date.
I learned everything I know in the net and by purchasing numbers of books related to FX trading. My first live trading account was also in Forex.com, I opened a $250 mini account using a borrowed money from my ever loving girlfriend and now my wife. I still remember how excited I was for having a live account at last and I started to dream that finally, I can earn substantial income.
I started trading in the morning, and like many novices, I relied solely on technical analysis and strategies indicated on the books I read. In just a matter of eight and exhausting hours, I lost the entire capital just by trading mini lots. I will never forget how long I lasted on my first capital because that was the time when I said to myself, and because it is also my nature that I will never to stop till I start earning in the financial market.
And so my journey and adventure begins, after losing that money, the very next day I wired another top up money close to $200. And this time, that amount lasted for nearly 15 hours on the screen. After I lost everything, and because what I was using for capital is a savings I was not able to trade anymore. At that very moment, I said to myself that trading the financial market is still the best way to gain substantial returns and all I have to do is gained experience. If there is one thing on all the books I read which now makes sense to me, is that trading requires skills and you can only gain skills by experience.
So I decided to further enhance my skills but my biggest problem at that time is how to begin again, I do not want to use my money anymore to learn knowing I will loose it eventually. Although I know at that moment that as a novice in the market, I should consider my loses as a tuition fee for learning, I disagree, I knew that there must be another way for me to learn for free and my solution is to be employed in a trading firm.
That's it, I started searching for trading firms that are looking for novice traders and I found Swifttrade, Manila..
